My lawyer said it was ok and we have applied for h4 extension for spouse. Its under regular processing at VSC so I won't know the outcome for a few months.

Hey all,
I am thinking of starting a company in partnership with an American Citizen. I currently hold H1B visa sponsored by my employer. If i start the company in partnership, can my partner/ my firm sponsor my concurrent H1B once the company is setup? My job will be quite similar to the job profile on my primary H1B.
I know the easiest is to be a silent partner, but in my case i might have to be involved 5-10 hours a week. So i understand concurrent H1B in my case would be the best. Any advise or feedback is greatly apprecaited.

Yes. Your dependents can go for a H4 visa stamping provided you (primary h1 beneficiary) were always in status. (which from your post looks like you were)
You will have to send your paystubs, latest h1 approval notice etc - with your family for the
h4 visa interview.

Law.com reports that the American Bar Association is being pressured to move a conference in Phoenix scheduled for next week after its co-sponsor for the event, the National Legal Aid & Defender Association, announced it was pulling out of the event. I am currently on H1B visa which will expire next year ie Nov2011. My employer just stated that due to economic conditions, they will not be able to file my GC.
My husbands company has already started his GC process ( his labor n I140 is done)but my name isnt on his application yet. We are waiting for the date to become current n then my name can be added on is 485 application as his dependent. His PD is Aug 08.
Basically I was interested in knowing abt future based employment GC. Has anyone done that before?
Is anyone aware of companies who would be interested in doing it. I just need to buy like max 2-3 years ....just to keep my H1B extensions going. I like my current job so really want to avoid changing it unless there r no other options left basically.
Pls suggest me options that I have to get H1B extension after Nov 2011 and continue working.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

On May 1, 2006, hundreds of thousands of immigrants around the country demonstrated against a restrictive immigration bill introduced in Congress. This weekend, similar demonstrations will occur around the US. I'll be attending my 20th law school reunion in Chicago this weekend and am hoping to attend that rally. I'd really rather be at the one in Phoenix and look forward to hearing reports from there.

Labor clearance done March 2005; I140 approved 11/11/2007. Filed for I485 08/23/2007.
I am changing my title but staying with the same compnay. I am also changing location. few qs
1. Should I file AC21 due to location change?
2. can i file a new LC for the new job title (Its very very different than what what i did earlier) and carry my PD?
