I had contributed $1000 towards my FSA dependent care account in 2010.
Now, in order to claim this amount, both husband and wife should be working, this is not the case with me, as my wife was not able to find a job in 2010.
Will this amount be reimbursed to me by the FSA management company ? as my son went to a preschool, and i paid the school fees every month.

I just received my initial EAD and it is only valid for 1 year. My priority date is October 2006. Shouldn�t I have received an EAD valid for 2 years?

is your case eb2 or eb3? what nationality are you from? if you are eb2 india, then it could potentially mean that you might get GC within one year...

I need your suggestions on my situation and below is the same.
1. Priority date (04Oct2006) is current in June bulletin
2. Applied labor & I40 with previous employer.
3. Applied I485 in July 2007 ( applied I 485 before marriage) with previous employer
4. Joined other employer on Sep 2009
5. Not applied AC21 portability to new employer.
Now my priority date is going to be current as of June 1st, so need to file I-485 for my wife. Based on my situation could you please suggest the best approach to apply dependent's I485. i.e Apply dependent I485 from previous employer or through my new employer asking for AC21 along with employment verification letter).
Appreciate your help in advance.

Hi All,
I am developing an application in which I want to use Virtulaization in a Listview along with grouping of elements. The moment I apply grouping and Expander to my group in the Listview the virtualization thing stops working. I knw Virtualisation works on Virtualising panel and grouping implements stack panel and thus Virtualization stope working.
Is there any workaround for the same if there is please do let me know as the requirement is little urgent.

If she gets J1 visa, then she would have to stay outside of US for 2 years at the end of J1 visa before she can get her greencard (even if you become citizen and apply for her). Another option would be that she would have to work in medically underserved region for 2-3 years to obtain J1- waiver, before she can apply for greencard.

Am currently in my 7th year H1 and have got admission into a parttime MBA program!
1.) I just wanted to clarify if i can accept scholarship in form of tution waivers? (not a income?)
2.) I am aware i cannot accept any scholarships which may require me working as a TA or RA? as this is a income...
but is a non-income school sponsored tution waiver an accepectable option>
Any gurus on this board like to throw some light on this!!!:confused:

My company recently moved offices to a new location just a few miles from the old location. Its in an adjacent county but with in the same state. We moved from Northbrook, IL to Deerfield IL, does this warrant a change in LCA/H1B?
Please advise.

Most attorneys have historically advised to file ammendment to LCA in case of address change like this. Provided that job conditions same, (which is likely in your case as it is just a few miles away) ammendment should be easy.

The President has started revealing his plans on immigration for the next year. It sounds like he's planning on trying a do-over with Congress and attempting again to get a comprehensive immigration bill passed. He'll make the case for this in his State of the Union Address. I'm happy the President is still interested in working for change, I sincerely hope he is not making passing a reform bill his SOLE strategy. I'm reminded of Presidents in the past who regularly spoke in favor of something, but you just knew they didn't really care and were just trying to appease...

started as an intern with local in the month of march 06 and I was given offer till end of august. but my school official gave me work permit on a semester basis and gave it only for srping 06, which end in may 15th. I couldn't update my CPT status for 1 day for summer 06 and started on 16th may, so the school official has said that i am out of status.Since re-instatement is not possible from school as it was unauthorized work permit. They have advised me to go to home country and attend visa to be eligible for reinstatement. I have grauduated last month with masters of science..
They said they will provide me recommendation letter for me to show to consular officer. Also, I have an MBA admit in same university for spring 2007.
so should i come to new program..if thats the case how to get an emergency appoitment.
