I have I140 approved in EB3 in Jan 2011. I485 is still long time to go. Can I change my employer and apply in EB2 and port my priority date?

Hi, I have/had valid I-94 all the time. Recently I renewed my passport in US. But I renewed it 3 months after expiry of old one. I heard from friends that, you need to have valid passport for the entire period of H1B petition validity. Wondering, If am in trouble for not renewing my passport before it expired. Please give your opinions.

If you call USCIS 1800 number, and you ask the representative to raise a service request then they email the service center asking for details. Most of the time, personnel from service center will call back with the information that you have requested. If you learn there is a way you can email the service center, please post here.

No that's not the case, there are stringent reqmts for proof of Date of Birth. Passport is not one of them...
Please check other forums where this has been discussed..

send them the business week article. In my company along with me 4 other folks also affected due to visa bulletin mess. I sent them an email on July 9th 2007 about flower campaign organized by IV to USCIS director. The sad part is no body showed any interest and bothered to reply. They are also going to benefited by this decision. These people still beleive in Murthy and other lawyer firm updates. I really don't know how to make these folks interested in IV. Any ideas or other personal stories.

One of my friend had a problem in the recieved EAD card
- they took an infopass appointment at the local center http://infopass.uscis.gov/
- based on their advice - they sent another application without fees - and they corrected and sent a new EAD card
