The cutoff date in Oct/Nov bulletin will be somewhere in 2002 so that people with older PD can be cleared. Remember it is only during last few months of the Fiscal Year that USCIS starts widening the Window (Example: In June Bulletin they moved windows by 2 yrs suddently from 2001 to 2003. So i believe they are aware there are lot of people in 2001/2002 yet without approval). During initial months of FY they keep the cutoff date tight which should help older PD's get through.

Here are some facts:
My I-140 was approved in April 2007 and I-485 was filed in August 2007. My H-1B expired on October 14, 2010 and my employer filed (using an attorney) for an extension last month. I have original H-1B filing receipt and copy for I-485 with me. I also had EAD which was scheduled to expire on October 15, 2010 and I filed myself for renewal of EAD and AP.
I lost my driving license with my wallet yesterday.
I checked NJ DMV website and in their 6 point ID verification they accept EAD and valid I-94 (which comes with H-1B approval, but I don't have either on me right now). Does anyone know what is the process in NJ. Do they accept filing receipts as valid document?
Without license I can't drive and go to work.
Any recent experience? I would really appreciate an answer.

update on case
As you know they should have answered law suit at end of May 07, then requested a further 30 days till end of Jun
Just before end of june their attorney called my attorney and said they want a resolution to case, they had little to no paperwork so requested our file which I hand delivered to Tampa on 6th July 07, so asked for another 30 days to end July
Well they have replied and agreed with 90% of our case. they say case is moot because my husband died, but my attorney says no, because they errored whilst husband was alive so irrelevant. They are also saying we cannot sue them, my attorney says there wrong
Anyway I will not bore you with all the details as I now have to do a lot of work, indexing, getting proof my son was issued an L2 visa (they are denying this), getting proof my son took steps to immigrate, which we have as he had INS medical well before his 21st
My attorney says if we win this will help so many others cases from aging out and to be strong, very hard to do at the moment.
Oh and they do not believe I am depressed, but I have the tablets and pescription to prove

This seems to be very extensive tracker. Based on this data, we can make a close analysis of Philadelphia BPC.
In RIR queue, they are currently certifying applications with PD of Sep 2004. We can find some cases with PD later than Sep 04 with status Certified. Those are either lucky ones or those who already reached from SWA to DOL before ended up in BPC. We can find many cases with PD earlier than Sep 04 with status Letter Received. I do not have strong explanation. Those could be either pending in data review or ones who did not care to update their tracking info after being certified or unlucky ones :confused:

Its the high time we convince the senators who said NAYS. Lets start SOME KIND OF CAMPAIN aiming these guys. I am sure that core's hands are there behind this amendment. Well done IV. Don't get dissappointed, keep trying for Skill bill or for similar amendments. Its really unfortunate that we lost a very very big chance. Lets do something immediately.

Absolutely wrong. If husband and wife are filing a joint tax return, it is wrong on her part to send money to her parents without informing her husband. Leave the taxes, it was simply wrong on a wife's/husband's part to do ANY major money transaction without letting your other partner know. Its equivalent of cheating (just financial cheating). Do you think it is ok for a man to send money to his parents?
I do agree with your point that information about transactions should be known to both parties. To answer your question, yes, in my opinion, it is perfectly OK for a man to send money to his parents since the man is earning. If the girl earns, she earns that right.
Say, when the couple goes to India for a vacation, I totally support the girl buying gifts similar to what the man has bought for his family/relatives. I also support assistance based on humanitarian needs for girl's parents. ONLY when it is comes to demands of sending monthly allowance or occasional lump sum, a line needs to be drawn.

This is indeed misleading. After seeing the ongoing tussle between buddyinus and Srikondo, I realised Buddyinus is right. Whats wrong in whatever he's saying??? The purpose of this thread is to discuss about the so called Monday's receipts. But since that Monday is gone, looks like u r fighting over nothing. How dare u warn anybody on this thread. We just need 20,000 active members to make a change, which is approx 10% of the total number of GC apps pending. At the most 2000 people are active.
If somebody can being in 20,000 active members to this forum, the change will happen.
I dont think all the 20,000 members need to be active every day or every week. What is that you are expecting them to be active every day. If we are not able to pull the crowd, it is not the inability of the crowd but the leadership. Crowd whether it is Indian or other is always like that. It is the effective leadership that makes the difference. For example if you take Martin Luther King, Gandhi or for that matter any leader, it is their speeches/actions that inspired people to involve in the movement not just the people came all by themselves.
