My spouse is on H4 currently. Have applied for H1 in April 2007 and got the H1 aproved. So the new H1 starts on Oct 2007. However, we applied for 485 and got our EAD's (No recept number, No finger printing etc).
Can my spouse use EAD to start job? we dont want use that new H1 currently. What are the implications if we use EAD? Will the H1 (and my H1) be effected?

I just received my initial EAD and it is only valid for 1 year. My priority date is October 2006. Shouldn�t I have received an EAD valid for 2 years?

is your case eb2 or eb3? what nationality are you from? if you are eb2 india, then it could potentially mean that you might get GC within one year...

Skin test and X-ray have nothing to do with a USCIS Physician's reputation buth rather on the outcome of the physical exam. However what is important is the amount the Physician is charging for the medical examination. I have an appointment with Dr Alfred in St Louis next week at Forest Park Medical clinic. Appointments are very hard to get by in St Louis.

I currently reside in Nebraska. I'm in pending I-485, and its I-797C�s Received Date was in Aug, 20007, Receipt Number: LIN-xx-xxx-xxxxx. My EAD expires on this December 2010, and my AP has expired on December 2008. I re-entered US on Feb, 2010 using H1B Visa and its HIB has expired on May 2010. I�d like renew my EAD and AP. I�ve got all paper ready to file, but I�m confused about Where Service Center/Office I should file to and pay the fees to. I�d appreciate your help.

My wife received Appt. letter for FP second time. It mentioned that first time FP didn't pass thru FBI check, se she need to come again at no cost. Is this normal and did it happen to any one? We are in Atlanta.

My firm recently extended my H-3 training visa until June of 2008. The old one ran out at the beginning of November 2007 and I was told by my lawyer that I could stay in the country, that my status would be okay.
However, I left the country for a personal emergency and didn't have time to go to the consulate while I was away for a new stamp. The current visa in my passport had expired by this point.
Upon my re-entry to the country I filled out the green I-94w form.
What do I need to do to get my correct status? have I done anything to affect my H3 status??
Any advice greatly appreciated!!!

If you have only one copy ICE officer will make a copy at the port of entry and give you the original. If you have two copies, ICE will take one and give you the other.

The USCIS website stated on April 20th that they are still accepting applications as the H1 quota of 65000+ 20000(Masters) was not full.
Does anyone have any information about the latest news in this regard?
Has the cap been met or are they still accepting applications?

Did any one get their labor approved that are filed after June 2008? Does anyone know how long it is taking these days?
