Hi,
My H-1 was approved in 2004 by the Texas Service Center. According to the instructions for I-539, for change of status to H4, it says:
"If The principal’s petition and change of status request are approved, mail form I-539 to the same Service Center that approved the principal’s I-129 and change of status or extension application. Include a copy of the principal’s approval notice."

The AP document should say that you can be paroled until ABC date. That is the expiration of the AP.

You can only stay in the US if you can change to another lawful status. As a UK citizen, the only work-authorized status that might be available, though difficult, is O-1 for extraordinary ability aliens. If the company won't start the permanent residence process for you, unfortunately you have very limited options.

Right now NSC shows that the processing dates are "August 10, 2007". What does this mean? Does it mean that
a)All apps with notice dates before Aug 10, 2007 are processed?
b)All apps with receipt dates before Aug 10, 2007 are processed?
c)All apps with notice dates after Aug 10, 2007 are being processed?
d)All apps with receipt dates after Aug 10, 2007 are being processed?
My 485 application has a receipt date of July 19, 2007 and notice date of Sept 18, 2007. Any insight into the dates???

I am trying to get an infopass to check my I-485 status
1. After selecting "you need information or other services" in the infopass process, The infopass is not showing me any appointment dates, instead it is showing "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."
I have done infopass before 6 months ago, and it showed me the date to select but now it is now doing that. just the message "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."
Does anyone faced the same issue and help me to get an infopass!

I had visited US for 6months in 2005 on H1B visa and currently my H1B is expired( Expired in Jun 2007). Now, I am in US on H4 visa. Can anyone please let me know is it possible to renew expired H1B now? If so, what is the procedure for the same?
Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

That would have to be in the form of COS., and I think that counts towards the cap, am not 100% though.
